The following article serves as a guideline but in no way it it the absolute truth or only route into getting yourself a concept art position or illustration job. See it as a checklist, before approaching your dream job.
It's the big artist dream to simply paint what you like and be able to sell that and make a ton of money so you can simply keep making what you like. Even though there are some artists out there that are pretty much living this dream reality, it is incredibly rare.
When you want to be an artist working for commercial things like: movies, video-games, tabletop games, tv-shows, graphic novels etc, you have to inevitably compete with tons of other great artists. A lot of those artists don't know how to market themselves though.

What better thing can I give to the Disney team than a little of my culture? Here I pictured Nick and Judy dancing the famous "Jarabe Tapatio". I hope they like it.
I am Sendrax (no, I´m not a Digimon, I choseed "mon" at the end of my nickname because of my last name, but I just don´t think it right ). As some of you may guest, I chose my nickname in honor to certain saga which inspired me to begin in the design.
I love every kind of art, but drawing is my passion over the others, so I keep practicing in order to...well I don´t have a goal, I only want to draw better every day.
I born in Guanajuato (México of course) and I went at the house of culture of the city few times when I was a child. I´m actually studying Digital Design at the University of Celaya and....
